The Mount Penelope is a freelanced HO railroad set in northern Ontario. Why northern Ontario? Because nothing in northern Ontario ever changes meaning we can run locos and rolling stock from just about whatever era tickles our fancy on that particular day! The current Mount Penelope is actually the second incarnation of said railway. The first had to be cut up during an unexpected move, hence the modular approach to construction we've since adopted.
The original Mount Penelope was a two cab DC system; now Mount Penelope steam and diesels move under Digitrax DCC power.
