Penwell-Notrees-Goldsmith Division of the Texas Pacific Railroad serves as a short line to bring oil from the Goldsmith terminal and cattle from the Notrees stock pens to the main line which serves either east to Ft Worth or west to El Paso.  A spur line also serves the Southwest-Portland Cement plant.  Passanger service is also offered to such places as Judkins and Coyote Corner.
