My railroad is based loosely on the branchline terminus station and maintenance depot found in the spa town of Buxton in Derbyshire.  In addition to passenger services, the area is well known for its limestone quarries and as such there is significant rail traffic to and from the quarries.  The layout is set in the mid-70's to the mid-80's and is in its early stages of construction.  Baseboards have been built, the track laid and the DCC bus installed and wired up and (apparently) working.  Current efforts are focused on ballasting and weathering the track.
