The layout is currently in the construction stage, with only 2 boards having track and wiring. no scenery has been installed as yet.  I started this layout in the latter part of 2008 but due to work commitments have not been able to do any work on it for a couple of years. but I hope to start working on it later in 2012. The layout is based loosely on Barrow-In-Furness, on the South Western corner of the English Lake District but with a lot of freelanced elements incorporated into it, espescially the sidings to Morrisons Supermarket, Vickers Shipbuilding and Roosecote Power Station. These were lifted in the late 1970's and early 80's and Fainty's Yard never had a rail link. I have included these to show what the area might have looked like in the present day.
