RR Xing
The Great Northern Railway created by the famous Empire Builder James Jerome Hill built the GN line -- among others -- from Saint Paul, MN to Winnipeg -- or more accurately to St. Vincent / Noyes MN and the Canadian Pacific took the trains from St. Vincent to Winnipeg. J.J.Hill was also on the board of the directors of the Canadian Pacific. My layout show the vast prairie in the very flat Red River Valley in summer with the wheat fields and towns with large elevators on the railroad tracks and small businesses support agriculture.
