Built in 1891 the gooseberry branch was a 32 5/8inch gauge (the standard gauge of all the Aspen Valley Railway & Transportation Co.) line that served the town of gooseberry with water transport to lake Yettobename where it interchanged with boats. this was the only branch that the Aspen Valley Railway & Transportation Co. that was completely isolated form the grater system. |
