The Maranatha Junction Railroad is a Dengle, Texas based railroad originally started in 2002. The railroad became "defunct" in 2018 but has been restarted in 2020. We are an evangelical based layout and currently have 2 MJRX locomotives on roster an SD-45 and ALCO FA-1E ,<-- prototype) and run BNSF, MRL and Amtrak service with (GP-20, SD45-2, SD90MAC, ES44CW locomotives and Amtrak service with a P42 and F40PH. BNSF became the main railroad company in 2021 and UP has vacated. MRL provides feeder freight service to Montana and Wyoming with connection service with with CN and CP to the midwest, Ontario and Quebec. Amtrak runs several different weekly trains in partner with VIA. A tourist railroad begins service from Dengle in May |
