.The Rincon Railway is a freelanced line based on the history of the Bakersfield and Ventura Railroad, of a century ago.  In it's current iteration, The RR interchanges with the SP near the Ventura/Santa Barbara County line, and serves the oil and argricultural interests of Ventura County.  Because the RR was in the County first, SP was forced to take a non-coastal route from the interchange, through the hills and mountains of Ventura County, to connect with the SP line at Saugas.
