This layout started in 2022. This is my 5th layout, the first one started in 1989 here in Colorado. After leaving Colorado for Texas, Ohio, Texas (back), Illinois there were three more layouts. The big one was in Ohio where we modeled the Joint Line. Now that we finally made it back to Colorado, my son and I have started construction of the BNSF Highlands Sub-Division. It is a three level layout in a 17x14 room with a helix. The lower level is for staging 36”. The main level is a base height of 48” and the upper level is at 65”. Benchwork, trackwork and DCC is complete. We are now working on scenery, signaling and facia. |
