The Victoria Railway was constructed in 1878 to join the town of Lindsay, Ontario with Haliburton, Ontario, 56 miles long. It was constructed to tap into the mineral and lumber resources of the area. It was taken over by the Grand Trunk Railway and then Canadian National, and it became the Haliburton Subdivision.

My HO scale model is built in a 22'x22' basement area. It is set in the 1955-1965 era.
