I lived in Marshall for 23 years and loved to hear the old stories of the Texas and Pacific. I would go study by #400 at the park. The T&P never came to Granbury, but I did 8 years ago. So I use it as an unofficial branch line to the T&P. My layout is a super laid out dogbone in the garage. Built on L-Girders with shelves and storage below with 85 feet of mainline, a classification yard, and serveral industries to switch. For now the layout is on DC with plans in the near future to move to DCC.
