Drill Extremely Precise Holes For Grab Iron Installation!
Designed with two different vertical spacings for EMD and GE locomotives. Each jig has one single hole on the left, and a series of holes on the right. The left hole is the common hole, while the holes on the right side of the jig are spaced for 15", 18", 20" and 24" grab irons – 15" being the closest hole to the left. Simply tape the jig in place, make sure you're aligned correctly and drill through the existing holes.
- EMD vertical: 17"
- GE vertical: 16" (the top grab iron has a spacing of 20.6")
