EMD built 888 of their NW2 model, each equipped with a 1000 hp, V12 567-A engine.

These models are accurate HO scale replicas of the real NW2's, and come equipped with BLI's state-of-the-art Paragon2 sound system.

The Paragon2 sound and control system allows you to operate your model in DC or DCC out-of-the-box.

With the Paragon2 sound and control system, the switcher offers authentic NW2 switcher sounds, and provides the operator with excellent slow-speed control unrivaled in the industry today.
