This Broadway Limited USRA 2-8-2 Heavy Mikado steam locomotive is based on engines constructed to standardized designs adopted by the United States Railroad Administration when the agency controlled railroads during World War I.

233 original locomotives were produced, but the design was so successful another 957 copies were built after the USRA relinquished control of the railroads.

This locomotive features full Paragon3 sound and DCC for realistic sound and motor control.

The Paragon3 sound system works with all Broadway Limited Rolling Thunder advanced sound systems.

This HO Scale USRA 2-8-2 Heavy Mikado locomotive can be operated on all DCC systems as well as on standard DC railroads (with limited sound functionality).
