Silver, Unlettered Version Of The Original High Speed Streamliner!

With the early 1934 introduction of the M-10000, the Union Pacific was the first to have a “modern streamlined high speed train" in service, beating Burlington's Pioneer Zephyr by several months.

Although the Pioneer Zephyr is probably better remembered than the M-10000, the M-10000 toured much of the USA and was exhibited to over one million people – each of whom was given a souvenir aluminium coin made of the same material as the M-10000 body.

A reproduction of said coin is included in this Con-Cor set.

Furthermore, Con-Cor is working on a DCC sound decoder for the M-10000 model and expects these to be available in March or April 2008.
