UR91 Radio/Infrared Receiver Unit
Electromagnetic Spectrum-Based Fun!
Similar in appearance to the UP5, the UR91 is a radio/infrared (IR) receiver unit and is mounted in the fascia of your layout. No additional wiring is needed as the UR91 simply plugs into your existing LocoNet. The antennas are concealed under the layout and the UR91 will support approximately 10 radio throttles. Most layouts will need just one UR91 but in some large configurations a second unit may be needed to compensate for "dead" spots. Be aware that the UR 91 operates in the 900Mhz band, which is available only in the United States and Canada. This unit is also equipped for concurrent infrared operation using all Digitrax IR throttles.
