"E" Series Duplex Sleeper

The Duplex Sleeper features the three most common forms of overnight accommodation: open sections for the budget-minded, roomettes for private day and night travel, and double bedrooms with comfortable seats.

Bedroom seats have see-through armrests, and roomettes have curtains for privacy.

Public restrooms at the “A” end of the car include a vanity for the ladies and dental bowls for hygiene.

The Duplex Sleeper is Pullman plan number 4124, a CN and Great Northern prototype.

Several railroads throughout North America had similar duplex sleepers, and the Duplex Sleeper is available with partial skirting or with fixed steps, as appropriate.

All Super Continental Line passenger cars feature battery-powered interior LED lighting which is turned on and off by the Rapido Lighter, essentially a magnet on a stick.

Wave the Rapido Lighter over the AC hatch on the roof, and the lights turn on. Wave it again, and the lights turn off.

No more coach yards filled with lighted cars draining your power pack, and no more flicker!

Each car comes with a Rapido Lighter and two batteries.

All cars will negotiate 18" radius curves although 24" or greater is recommended.
