Extend Your TurboTrain!
This highly detailed coach will help expand your TurboTrain trainset (RP-606-200003) to its prototypical consist! On 20 December 1967 the United Aircraft TurboTrain rocketed to an amazing 170.8 MPH on the Pennsylvania Railroad in New Jersey – a feat which remains to this day the fastest speed ever achieved by a production passenger train in the United States or Canada. Then, on 22 April 1976 a Canadian National TurboTrain travelling between Montreal and Toronto reached a speed of 140.6 MPH – a record that still stands in Canada. In 1972, the Department of Transportation increased Amtrak's TurboTrains to 5 cars each. A complete Amtrak TurboTrain requires one each #200003, #200301 and #200302, all sold separately. The car numbers are accurate for this 5-car train.
