Cornerstone Series® Open-Air Transload Building Combines Style And Function.
By the 1950s many railroads had outgrown freight houses and other such facilities constructed in the early 1900s. The solution was open-air transload buildings such as this one. Featuring a large concrete loading dock, an enclosed staging warehouse and a sheltered dock, this facility is patterned after a Santa Fe prototype and is a great destination for box cars and flat cars.
